The Zone Is Not a Signal: How to Read Price Without Reacting

Today is November 3, 2025. Gold is trading at $4001.44  right at a psychological zone. Based on experience, psychological zones include round numbers like $4000, $3500, $3000, and so on.

What happens at psychological zones?

I do not trade unless there’s a confirmed breakout  either above or below. Gold is currently in consolidation, moving within a narrow range. That means trading requires confirmation both from indicators and volume.

For example:
If a 15-minute candle is large and bullish, followed by at least 3 more strong candles, and the move breaks through by +50–70 points  then we can say a bullish signal is active. The same principle applies to bearish trends.

One key rule:
The trend may not always develop as described  the market is a living organism. But based on experience, this approach works about 80% of the time.

Now, regarding support and resistance zones:
When the trend moves up or down, every ±30 point move becomes a support zone. If we’re already in a position, we can protect profits by trailing the stop accordingly.

Important:
I never trade on 1-minute or 5-minute timeframes. Volatility is too high, and signals are unreliable. I only trade on 15-minute or higher timeframes.
